In a world where women are told what they can't do, we are here to do it better than you!!

The Elite Woman's Mission:

We are the women of Elite CrossFit. We are mothers, grandmothers, wives, girlfriends, sisters and daughters. We are secretaries, CPA's, students, teachers, community leaders, professors, and coaches. We are a family of females, driven by the goal to be better human beings. We achieve this through fitness. We will lift, jump, run, swing, press, squat, throw, pull, snatch, clean, row, win, lose, and climb our way to the top! We will never give up. Ever. We are here to send a powerful message that beauty and confidence are found through strength. And we are strong. To all the ladies who are scared of a barbell, to those afraid to sweat, and to all the women who have sufficed to "girl pushups," we challenge you to take the leap; adequate is not our goal. Better is what we must be. We will push each other, compete, succeed, fail, and endure pain some men may not imagine. And we will do it everyday, so we are better than we were yesterday.

crossfit chicks are HOT

True, sincere, and hella SWEET article HERE from the CrossFit Journal. Thanks Tim!! If you are a woman, please read! If you are a man...PLEASE READ! The desires of women to increase their work capacity, which leads to heightened confidence, are far more than a "want"...they are critical! There is absolutely no scientific background that states a woman has to do long-drawn out bouts of cardio, or has to use light-resistance machines, or pink or purple rubber-coated dumbbells. Biologically, women possess the SAME potential for fitness gains as men; yet may never get there if they result to "girl pushups" each time they hit the gym. Independant strength and beauty can go hand-in-hand for the female population...and should! Enjoy the article and enjoy being a strong, hot, chick!!

That being said, how about some new PR's yesterday in deadlift!! Caroline tops the female list at 315#. I increased my previous max by 10lbs and hit 265#!!

Friday WOD
10x 100m stride run @ 70%..working on technique
3x20 box jumps with 3min rest between..go HARD!
